It’s July! The beginning of a new appointment year, and we are here!
Over fifty-five church members, family, and friends gathered in Fellowship Hall last Sunday (June 25th) for fun, games, crafts, creativity, and good food; hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta, salads, pork chops, chicken, and desserts! Music, children, and laughter blended with the sound of relentless pouring rain outdoors. Thank you to all who could spend this time together with us!
It was noticeable during our fellowship how unique we are and how much we learn together. Some are do-ers, others are bold and courageous observers, and some are risk-takers. Most importantly, we all have a growth mindset and give it all we’ve got and all who we are to make our time together a huge success!
This summer, we are trying out something new to stay connected and grow! Spanish Bible Study will continue throughout July and August on Thursday nights, at 7 pm, in the Library.
English Bible Study will not meet on Tuesday nights; however, we will engage in summer reading conversations and meet on Wednesday mornings and afternoons every two weeks, in person, via Zoom, or both. The group will determine what works best. Here is the list of the books we will read this summer and the meeting dates. You may be interested in one, two, or all! All books are available on Amazon, Thriftbooks, Christianbook, or Cokesbury.
